"Although the dish had good flavors and turned out pretty much as demonstrated on the show, it is definitely NOT a 30-minute meal. Don't be fooled into thinking this can be a quick weeknight dinner. The number of ingredients, steps, and preparation made it more like a two-hour meal for me. Granted, making a recipe for the first time and making sure you have ingredients within reach can be challenging, but I don't think this one could ever be a 30-minute meal unless you made the paste and pesto in advance. I made the noodles with the chicken stir fry. Also, I would recommend green cabbage instead of lettuce if you want to retain a good crunch. The lettuce wilted and wasn't very appealing mid-meal."
