"Delicious - with and without the chili oil! I didn't use nearly as much oil as it called for and I used vegetable broth instead of chicken, and I used red lentils because it's what I had on hand. But I found this to be absolutely delicious (although come to think of it, I probably used twice the amount of garlic called for and a lot more broth). D""
"This had a beautiful and fresh flavor (although I made it without the pasta). It seems american tastebuds (negative ratings) can't appreciate the flavor of vegetables cooked in water - but while broth sometimes is great, the water here lends a lovely and fresh vegetable flavor to the broth. And the recipe is super healthy - what's not to love?!""
"Mario did it again. A quick, tasty, unique dish that sends you to a bistro in Sicily. Delish!
As for the person who wrote the initial review - it is not the chef's job to give you substitutions for every ingredient or to educate you on each ingredient. But if you choose to be lazy, I can tell you that caciocavallo is a sicilian mozzarella.""
"This is a delicious and simple dish, lovely as a side or first course. However, on the show, Mario did not layer it with butter. He lined the pan with the gnocchi, sprinkled it with cheese, and drizzled it with olive oil before baking it. This is how I made it - and it was very enjoyable.""

"This is BY FAR the best bolgnese sauce I've ever had. It's silky, rich, and absolutely delicious.""
"Combination of textures and flavors is delicious. Sweet, salty, savory, rich, and nutty. If cooked correctly, this fork tender dish is amazing!""
"Bold flavors with seafood - very authentic to southern italian cooking. Another great recipe Mario!""
