Reviewed Quick Chicken Stir-Fry

Jan 10, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

This is my new go-to stir-fry recipe. I used fresh veggies, doubled the garlic and ginger, used chili garlic sauce instead of red pepper flakes and tripled the sauce. I probably only needed 2x. I will try the frozen veggies next time. Great mix of spicy, sweet, vinegar. Really good and easy.

Reviewed Parmesan-Crusted Pork Chops

Jan 3, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Only okay. Agree with other reviewers that it is just a standard breaded pork chop. Adding the lemon reminded me of Wiener schnitzel. Fine, but don't think I will make again.

This is great. I have been looking for a go-to stir fry recipe and I think this is it-not too sweet, a little heat, and a nice tang from the vinegar and OJ. I added a lot more veggies (snowpeas, asparagus, carrots, and zucchini) so I followed the recommendation to triple the sauce. I also added more garlic and ginger. It takes a lot of time to c"

Really yummy. Husband and kids liked them (only used 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes). Only criticism is that they were a little dense. Maybe I man-handled them too much? The asiago was a nice touch and baking them was super easy. Looking forward to leftovers tomorrow!"

Reviewed Shrimp with Linguine in a Pesto Cream Sauce

Jan 15, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Easy and tasty. I didn't add extra salt in the sauce. I cut the recipe in half for 2 people, but used a pound of shrimp, and there were still leftovers. Will definitely make again. "

Loved this dish. So easy. I also only used 1tsp. of chili flakes and it still had plenty of kick. It's rich, but I will be making this as often as possible. "

Reviewed Tomato Feta Pasta Salad

Dec 11, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Updated 12/11/12- Still love this recipe. I have made it a number of times for large groups and typically double the pasta, dressing, and olives, but keep tomatoes (usually cherry tomatoes), parsley, feta, and parm as is and it turns out great. Enjoy!

(1/16/11) I loved this! It was relatively simple and had a lot of flavor. ...

Reviewed Dark Chocolate Mousse

Oct 9, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Made this last night for my hubby for our anniversary. I used semi-sweet chocolate, 3 Tbsp of sugar, and served with vanilla whipped cream. We both loved it and it was pretty easy (even though I used lots of bowls, but I had the same problem another reviewer had and had tiny little chocolate chips in my mousse. Any ideas why this happened? Wer"

Reviewed Grilled Romaine Salad with Spicy Caesar Dressing

Sep 19, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

This was super easy and we will be making this often. I have also tried Bobby Flay's other grilled caesar recipe (his wife's recipe) and I like this one better - less steps as you don't need to roast the garlic and more anchovies resulting in more of a caesar-y taste. I did use a little less olive oil than called for (3/4 cup and about 6 large ...

Reviewed Parmesan-Roasted Broccoli

May 11, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I had never roasted broccoli and tried this recipe alongside the Neely's recipe for Roasted Broccoli with Cherry Tomatoes and while they were both tasty this one was so much more flavorful. This recipe had a few more ingredients, but was just as simple to prepare. Even my husband, who claims to not like broccoli, couldn't stop picking at it. Hi"

I loved it. Very strong flavors, but they work so well with the fish. It was liked grilled fish on top of a puttanesca bruschetta. I thought it was fresh, light and delicious. I will be making this one again!

Reviewed Asian Grilled Salmon

So easy and tasty! I didn't completely believe that it could be as good as all of the reviews claimed, but it is! I used boneless, skinless salmon and it worked just fine. Love Ina for making a great, super easy recipes, using things you have in the pantry. I will be making this regularly.

Reviewed Tomato Feta Pasta Salad

I loved this! It was relatively simple and had a lot of flavor. I didn't use as much feta as was called for(probably about 1/3), and I love feta, but it still turned out great. This will be my go-to pasta salad recipe from now on.
