My Activity

Reviewed Multi-Grain Waffles

"Unlike most reviewers, I made this recipe as it was written. I used the corn meal, not the wheat germ, because that is what I had on hand. I have to say that these were downright amazing! Soaking the oatmeal in buttermillk made the oatmeal undetectable. I am going to use that method in other recipes to add "oaty" goodness! Even my husband, who constantly gripes when I try to make traditional recipes "healthy", said there was no reason to ever make traditional waffles. They freeze great too, no need for syrup, they taste great with a fruit reduction, jelly, or peanut butter and honey. Enjoy!
