My Activity

Reviewed Coq Au Vin

"I followed the ingredients list for the recipe but definitely not the cooking process. I cooked the entire thing in my crock pot and it was WONDERFUL. I cooked the bacon on the stove, draining the fat completely. I seasoned the chicken as recommended, but did not brown it as I wanted it to absorb all the flavors while cooking. I then threw eve""

Reviewed Baked French Toast Casserole with Maple Syrup

"I made this for Easter Brunch and it was so tasty! I used fat free milk for all three cups-no half and half. I also only used a stick and a half of butter for the praline topping and decided that I could have gotten away with only one stick. This will definitely be used for all of our holiday breakfasts! Thank you Paula!"

Reviewed Banana Nut Cake With Cream Cheese Frosting

"I have made this numerous times and have always received rave reviews. I don't make it a layer cake and it always turns out in whatever I bake it in provided I adjust the cooking times. The last time I made it I added mini chocolate chips and it was out of this world. This recipe is a prime example of why I LOVE Paula Deen!"

Reviewed Scalloped Potato Gratin

"FABULOUS! I use Sargento Artisan Blends Swiss Cheese and the 6 Italian Cheese blend (also by Sargento.) Mixed together they are wonderful. I don't broil it at all-it becomes perfectly brown and crispy just by baking. I am always asked to bring this to family dinners. I end up doubling it and found that the 5lb bags of potatoes work great-I just scatter the pieces that are left over on top and then throw more sauce and cheese on it. Thank you Tyler!

Reviewed Bobby's Goulash

"She definitely used soy sauce on the episode. She said you could SUBSTITUTE Worcestershire if needed which I highly recommend. I did one TBLS soy and the rest Worcestershire and it came out really well. I too cooked it for only 15 minutes because we Italians like our pasta al dente :- Happy Birthday Bobby!
