My Activity

Reviewed Stuffed Cabbage Stoup

"Great flavors! My grocery store only sells meatloaf mix with beef & pork, so that's what I used. I also added some cumin & used regular cabbage from my garden. I ended up cooking the soup a little longer than suggested so the flavors would meld together plus we don't like crunchy cabbage in our soup. Lastly, I cooked & served the rice separately a"

Reviewed Pops' Singapore Noodles

"Great recipe! Paired it with Guy's chicken & avocado eggrolls. Yummm! I didn't have Madras curry powder & couldn't find it locally without ordering online. I just used regular curry powder which had a lot of the same ingredients. I also only used a 6oz package of rice noodles & didn't think I would have enough, but it made plenty for 3 people plus"

Reviewed Chocolate Ice Cream

"Just got my new ice cream maker for Christmas & this was the first recipe I had to try. I followed the recipe exactly except I added 2-3 oz of bittersweet chocolate chips because I love chocolate. I also strained the mixture before adding it back to the saucepan. We gave this an ice bath to speed up the time & waited till the temp reached 40 degre"

Reviewed Lasagna al Forno

"I'm not a big fan of Lasagna, but my husband always asks me to make it for him. So, I found this recipe and I have to say this recipe has changed my mind about lasagna. Would not change a thing about this recipe. It does make a lot, so I always freeze the leftovers and I have several dinners in the freezer when needed."

Reviewed Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

"Great twist on chocolate chip cookies! These are not your regular thin chewy cookies. These are fluffy moist cake-like cookies. They are so delicious! I halved this recipe, doubled the spices, & pumpkin puree. It was more than enough cookies. I also made them larger & cooked them about 15 mins. Will be making these every fall."

Reviewed The Ultimate Fish Tacos

"Great recipe! Even better the next day! I think the ingredients of the salsa and sauce have time to marry well overnight. I didn't have chipotles or adobo so I improvised and used sriracha sauce. I also tossed the fish with fresh lime juice & salt and pepper before applying batter. I fried the fish which tasted great, but I think I will try grilli"

Reviewed Roasted Shrimp and Orzo

"Great dish for the beach or a picnic. Even good cold. Did use less parsley and dill as others suggested. Otherwise great recipe! I love feta cheese, but I imagine goat cheese would be yummy in this recipe as well."

Reviewed Spinach and Bacon Quiche

"Never been a big fan of quiche, but this recipe has changed my mind. I doubled this recipe with 9 eggs and 2 cups of cream and made two pies. Was skeptical of this recipe when I made this for my in-laws visiting. But when they had second and third helpings, I knew this was a winner. Thank God I made 2! Will be making this recipe for years to come.""
