Reviewed Beef and Cannellini Bean Minestrone

GREAT recipe!! I added quite a bit of spices, and also added potatoes, fresh green beans, and a can of chili beans. Also, I made the beef into a meatball mix before adding to the soup. What flavor! My family loved this soup.....I will definitely make this again.""

This was a great recipe! I didn't have Vermouth, so I used Marsala cooking wine, which was really good. The sauce was delicious and we ate it over rice, which made it! The only thing I would change, is I would cook the chicken differently. Sauteing it on each side and then putting it in the oven to finish it off, made it very dry. I think I ...

YUMMMMMMMMMM!! I made some changes, and it turned out great! I used 1 full cup, light brown sugar (instead of 1/2 C. white sugar), I also used 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk. I served it warm, on top of vanilla ice cream; and finished it off with homemade whipped cream! My family LOVED it......I will definitely make this again!"

This was sooooo good! Very much like a quiche. I didn't have any bacon, but it still turned out wonderful. Next time I will make it with the bacon, to see which way I like it better. This is a very easy recipe, but tastes like it took a long time to make!"

What a great, fresh tasting salad! I didn't have any mint, so I omitted that and I didn't miss it a bit. I used homemade ricotta cheese for the cheese, and it was tasty! This is a great salad for a hot, summer day! I will definitely make it again."

This turned out really well, although I would have cooked more bacon and added it throughout the casserole, not just on the top at the end. Also, I added Panko breadcrumbs on top and browned them, and this really made the dish!"

I LOVED this! I substituted three (3 red tomatoes on the vine, for the grape/cherry tomatoes, and a large shallot for the red onion. I also used a balsamic/extra virgin olive oil mixture for the plain balsamic vinegar, and used canola oil instead of olive oil. I added a minced garlic clove and some Cavender's All Purpose Greek Seasoning to the...

Wow! What a great, hearty soup! I used canned oysters and canned clams, and a piece of Mahi Mahi tuna, since I didn't have rockfish or jumbo lump crab meat. I think it would have been even better with the crab meat, so I will make sure I have some next time. I substituted celery for the leek, dried thyme instead of fresh, chicken stock in place...

This was a great recipe! I didn't have all the ingredients on hand, so I improvised and it turned out wonderful. I didn't have apple butter, so I used some applesauce and some gingerbread dip I bought at a gourmet store. I didn't have ground ginger, so I used allspice in its place. I also didn't have evaporated milk, but using whole milk worked...
