Reviewed Banana Bread with Pecans

This bread was way too dark - it looked burnt. I could tell 1/2 way through cooking that it was too dark, but it wasn't done in the middle. I prefer my bread to be a much lighter color. Everyone enjoyed it - nobody thought it was burnt, but I didn't like it. I used this recipe because I didn't have some of the ingredients other recipes called for....

Reviewed Homemade Ricotta

So easy. I didn't have white wine vinegar so I used white balsamic instead. It's still made with white wine so I figured it would be okay to substitute. It worked out beautifully. It was the best ricotta I've ever had.
