I was expecting much more flavor in this dish. It was very bland. The pancetta, although not lean, did not leave behind much in the way of drippings. Perhaps this dish would have been more flavorful had I used regular bacon. I love peas, especially sugar snaps, but this recipe did not flatter them. This was absolutely delicious, and the aromas that filled the house while this ham baked were sensational.
