Bobby you did it again. This recipe is delicious. I use a whole chicken cut in pieces. When it gets too cold to grill outdoors, I will try broiling this in my oven. I make a bit of extra sauce and throw it on top of the grilled chicken, YUM.....thanks for another keeper.

Reviewed roast beef with marsala gravy

I used what is referred to as a "spoon roast". Someone once told me, while I was grocery shopping, it was the best. That person knew about meat because it is. I followed the recipe closely with the exception of the amount of water and wine. While it cooked, I kept a close eye and when the liquid started to dry, I added a bit more. I have to...

Reviewed Lemon Cream Cupcakes

Jan 5, 2014 on

After reading all the reviews (some a bit too negative for me to follow this recipe), I've decided to improvise and do my own thing. I have a box of lemon cake mix which I will maybe "doctor" up a bit and use it to make some fine cupcakes. I will them double the cream cheese filling and proceed accordingly. I will be back with the results of my...

I also used mushrooms and frozen (thawed) peas, carrots,...

I used strawberry preserves instead of jam.....will definitely stock up on jam and make these delicious cookies again. I mixed my preserves with Grand Marnier, yum. The only problem I had with them is that they are so delicious that I ate several "samples". They are going to be part of a cookie tray for Christmas Eve and I know they will be devoured...

Reviewed Apple Spice Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

Nov 29, 2013 on

Made this for Thanksgiving. Honestly it was just OK. I found the frosting too lemony. If you are going to make it, add just a small amount of lemon juice, and perhaps that would make a difference. Also the cake was extremely moist, I think in part due to the fact that the apples were precooked in the cider. On the other hand the cake made a nice...

My one and only ham recipe from now on. I have been experimenting with baked ham recipes for more years than I care to admit. I finally hit a "home run" with this one. Ham was so tender and full of flavor. Thank you

Reviewed Grilled Chicken Paillard with Lemon and Black Pepper and Arugula-Tomato Salad

Apr 22, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

I made this recipe both with pieces and chicken breast kabobs. Unfortunately my grill decided not to work so I ended up broiling it on high. It turned out absolutely DELICIOUS. I took the time to marinade this a few hours ahead just as the recipe directed, and I think this is a big part of the success. This will be my favorite summer barbecue c"
