My Activity

Reviewed Halibut Fish Tacos with Guacamole Sauce

"So good! Took other's suggestion of substituting cilantro for the scallions. For diet reasons skipped the tortilla but added sauteed veggies with cumin and spread the sauce over the filet. I used light sour cream (no plain yogurt in the house and I'm thinking it will be great on my turkey burgers. Can't wait to make this again."

Reviewed Crispy Salmon with Green Herb-Caper Sauce with Asparagus Cheese Puffs

"Due to diet concerns, I skipped the asparagus cheese puffs...boo! I also substituted wheat flour because I didn't have the rice flour. Haven't had "fried" fish in ages and this was a light, unique alternative. The herb caper sauce was yum! The fresh herbs came right out of my garden, and the lemon gave it a fresh taste. Reviewed Carrot, Zucchini, Squash Ribbons

"Nice change from the typical chopped veggies sauteed in olive oil. I don't have a mandoln so I used a peeler to make the ribbons. Reviewed Arugula Endive Salad with White Wine Vinaigrette

"Light and easy. With no choice because of what was in my cupbard I left out the honey and arugula. Substituted spinach and left out honey all together. Still, it was a non-vinegary dressing and the toasted walnuts added so much. The only other alteration was a whisk instead of the blender. Great homemade dressing that will be a household stap"

Reviewed Shrimp Skewers

"What a wonderful compliment to our grilled steak. I found myself eating the shrimp and pushing the steak aside. The marinade also tasted great on the grilled vegetables."
