Reviewed Beer Battered Asparagus with a Lemon Herbed Dipping Service

"We love this recipe ~ I serve it constantly as an appetizer... I have found if you trim, then pat dry your asparagus and then let it rest on the counter for a couple of hours the batter will not come off during frying... I also dust them with flour before dipping in the batter... I no longer have batter that comes off... The sauce is excellent! "

Reviewed Mexican Chicken Soup

"This is a GREAT base! I add corn, olives and more corn tortillas than the recipe states. We like thicker soup ~ almost like a stew. I also add a small amount of adobo sauce and lime juice. This recipe is a staple in our house during cold nights. The toppings of sour cream, cilantro, and tortilla chips should not be left out! This makes a lot, I normally make a basket for a few neighbors ~ Soup and the toppings ~ Good deeds are so rewarding ~
