My Activity

Reviewed Turtle Graham Bars

"I followed the recipe egreenhouse provided, and that was delicious!! the difference is that you bake the butter/graham for 10 min instead of 15 min (which will burn) and use 1/2 c. of brown sugar instead of a whole cup (which would be way too sweet) and you add the nuts at the end of the recipe so that it's easier to spread and mix the butter/sugar mixture, and i was actually able to coat all the graham rectangles that came in two packs so that i didn't have any leftovers (about 18 grahams); i didn't just dump the butter mixture on everything but i spooned and spread it on. instead of melting the chocolate at the end and i evenly distributed the semisweet chips on all the crackers and baked for an additional 1-2 min for it to melt, then spread it around and topped it off with crushed pretzels. my friend whose party i brought this to is allergic to nuts, but the pretzels still give that nice crunch and provides a little saltiness too.
