“I was so looking forward to making an eating this. While it was good, it wasn't Ina-amazing like most of her recipes. I followed it to the T. But I found the red onion to be a bit over powering, thankfully I had a can of green giant sweet corn in the pantry that I added to recipe since by then I was that of ears of corn. That helped.

“This cake is so good and very easy to make.
However, I got a chuckle when Ina called it 'good for you' in the video because it uses yogurt. That's a bit of a stretch since it uses 2 1/3 cups of sugar for the entire recipe. But it's a cake and no one makes a cake to be healthy! "”

“Great dish to make. I should have done what the previous poster did and kept some of the crust. I like the crunch too. Even though you toast the bread crumbs they get a bit soggy once the tomatoes hit the pan.
To be honest, dicing up 16 tomatoes was a time consuming pain in the butt. Next time I make this I'll use cans of diced tomatoes...”
