"Followed to a T with one exception. I subbed the Tomato Puree with Crushed Tomatoes in Puree because I was looking to make sauce that was a little chunky. That being said, my substitution would not at all alter the taste of the original... The taste is exceptional, just the right amount of tang, the olive oil (I used Extra-Virgin) really takes the""

Reviewed Hot Chocolate Bar
"A "Hot Chocolate Bar"? -- LOL
I've got young nieces, a daughter and an assortment other chocolate fiends in the family. What a clever idea for the kids around the holidays!
If I put aside a bottle of Peppermint Schnapps and Kahlua, I've probably got the adults taken care of as well... ;)"
Reviewed Pork Chops Pizzaiola
"These were very easy and very good... I thought the liquid content was a little high so I cut the stock down to about half and that worked for me... But I prefer sauce a little thicker than many people do so use your own judgment, just remember that it is easier to pour it in than to take it out.
The called for amount of red pepper was a little too much for the wife and I. The next time I will use about half that much but it certainly wasn't something that made the dish unpleasant.
The flavor of the dish and simplicity of preparation are both a big hit. This is an excellent week night dish. It is also something any kid, who just moved out on their own, can easily do and come up with a damn good meal... Good Job Rachel!"

About Me
I've been cooking something or another since I was 11 years old. Starting with I'm sure was some grilled cheese thing or something else I destroyed but ate anyway.
That was over 30 years ago...
By the time I was 18 I was better in the kitchen than most 30 year old men are and upon moving out of the house at age 21 I came to the realization that... Life is simply far too long a time period to go through while eating s**t... It just didn't make any sense to me.
Refined culinary skill isn't anything unique or special. Scores of people actually make a damn good living at it. The guy over here, he learned how cook Thai well enough to land a job in a restaurant. The gal over there, she runs the kitchen at this place. I look at you and I see the same thing. YOU submitted something and people love it.
Today I am a damn good cook with enough high quality knowledge to pair with my lifetime culinary experiences. I was blessed (or cursed...lol) with an adventurous and curious palate and I have an incredible arsenal of 'culinary weaponry' to back up the claim.
I see what I desire and what I desire... I cook!!!
