“I took this dish to a dinner where I was asked to bring a side dish. I followed the directions with the following changes/additions:
I used real Barley only because I had some. It adds about 45 minutes to the cook time.
I added 6-8 cloves of garlic to the butter that I cooked the mushrooms in.
