I'm going to try these tomorrow. Now I'm nervous after reading your comment. Which brand of cookie butter did you use? Did you pack the brown sugar or scoop it loosely?

I was looking for a dish I could make using kielbasa, but my son doesn't like kraut and my husband didn't want kielbasa. So as I searched recipes this one came up as a possibility (no kraut! and shrimp (which my husband loves!. Here in CA, you don't find grits in the pantry on a regular basis, so I used what I had...white rice.

I noticed that the written recipe was a bit different from the video. So I went with the video. I used all the ingredients, just as listed except that I doubled everything for a larger crowd and used a 15x12 pan. The crowd loved it. ""
