My Activity

Reviewed Pretzel Buns with Grilled Dogs and Spicy Cheese Sauce

"Tasted delicious, but the pretzels were really time-consuming. Next time I will make smaller and more buns. The store didn't have any velveta so I bought pre-made queso and added the jalapenos to it along with some finely diced red onions. I will definitely try wrapping the dough around the dog and baking the entire thing next time!"

Reviewed Chimichuri Sauce for Steaks

"Delicious! Made it for flank steak lettuce wraps last night for dinner. It was so easy. I made it in the food processor (mixed garlic first so it wouldn't be chunky) to save some chopping time. I used bunches of cilantro and parsley but next time I'll cut back on the garlic. 8 seemed like it was a little overpowering. I have the leftovers in the f"

Reviewed Chunky Mango Guacamole

"LOVE Jeff! This guacamole is so tasty. Was a little skeptical at first with the mango, but it is perfect! My husband raved it is the best I've ever made. Used 1 jalapeno vs. habanaro and might use more next time. YUMMY!"

Reviewed Oven Fried Onion Rings

"I made these last night with the chorizo sandwiches. They were tasty, but took too long to prep (longer than 10 minutes for me) and actually get in the oven! I love the crunch and they were much healthier than fried. I used the avacado crema from the sandwich recipe as a dipping sauce and it was great.""

Reviewed Sloppy Jose with Chorizo, Charred Poblanos and Avocado Crema

"I finally watched this episode yesterday on my DVR and had to make it for dinner! It was delicious! I went to my commissary and due to the lack of specialized items, I had to substitute a few things: sweet red peppers, kaiser rolls and Cracker Barrel extra sharp Vermont cheddar. It was still awesome! Next time though I will probably take the b""

Reviewed Coconut Macaroons

"I made these yesterday and have only a few left!!! I love the sweet, crunchy edges! Took no time at all. Kept them in the oven for almost 30 minutes and they were perfect. I made 2 cookie sheets at a time and had a little left over, which turned soggy as others have noticed. But if you make them all at one time, you don't have that problem. ""

Reviewed Hot Brown Turkey Sandwiches

"Great sandwich!!! I used rotisserie chicken instead and it was delicious. I did forget to get tomatoes so it was a little thick. I think the tomatoes would have cut the heaviness of the sauce. I had some leftover cranberry sauce and used it on my sandwich and it was perfect. Definitely recommend!""

Reviewed Squash, Manchego and Balsamic-Onion Grilled Cheese

"Made it for lunch today for a friend who is very picky about what she eats. Took a bit of time but it was definitely worth it. I used a garlic infused loaf with a crispy crust as they had no fresh country loaf when I went shopping. I also used a pasturized vs. unpasturized manchego (I'm pregnant but was told the unpasturized version is much tas""
