"Just made this tonight and was thinking that my roasting pan was small enough...but it, in fact, was not. Totally burned the lemons and the onions. Therefore, I had to scour the pan a bit before attempting the sauce. SO, DO NOT IGNORE THE SIZE OF THE PAN IN THE RECIPE 12x16 will not work!! 11x14 or slightly smaller, according to Ina. Chicken was very tasty, but I always add a little onion and garlic powder to my rub in addition to the salt and pepper. The gist of the sauce sounds wonderful and the lemons and onions did smell fantastic (before they burned due to my own stupidity).
