Reviewed Baked Mashed Potatoes, with Pancetta, Parmesan Cheese, and Breadcrumbs
"Standing ovation from the family. This is one of the best mashed potatoes I've ever had. They were amazing and super simple to make. My top didn't come out quite right but I may not have bake it long enough. There will defiantly be making several appearances in this household.
About Me
Growing up all my meals were made from scratch. Hamburger Helper was a foreign item in my house. I never really appericated until I got out on my own. I knew how to cook basic things but now I have deloveped a real passion for it. I want to be able to create many new entres that are appealing and delicious. I'm currently toying with the idea of going to a culnary arts school just to take cooking classes. My biggest pet peeve is when my wife moves one of my spices and I can't find it when I'm cooking.
Favorite Foods
Mashed Potatoes! My grandparents lived down the street from me growing up. My grandma was a southern cook who lived through the depression. I don't care what it was you fried it in butter and served potatoes with it! So every day when I saw my grandma she would feed me some type of potatoes, weither it was mashed, diced, sliced and fried or homemade potatoe cakes. My biggest regret is not being able to get a lot of her recipes before she passed away. She didn't keep a cookbook, they were all in her head. My favorite thing to make is cheesecake. Its so expensive in stores and restruants but its so easy and cheap to make. I can make about 20 different kinds.Advertisement
