Reviewed Taco Salad

Jan 20, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

I like to serve this in tortilla shells baked into a bowl shape. Very easy and my whole family loves it. So of course, I'm thinking of experimenting. HA! I think I'll swap the Catalina dressing with green goddess or some other guacamole flavor. Thanks for the great recipe!

Delicious! I followed the measurements thinking ';that sure is a lot of rue.'; I added a little extra oil since 1:2 ratio was too thick to manage. I cooked it until it was almost as dark as milk chocolate. Then thinned it with chicken stock. By the time I had the right gravy consistency, I had lots more than two quarts - just added more c...

I followed the directions exactly and was pleased with the flavors since it was so easy. I had a ham in the oven, so I didn';t open it up and check for doneness until the hour was up. I think it was a bit overdone, because it wasn';t as moist as I';d hoped. I expect it will be better when I add milk to re-heat the leftovers. I';ll...

I used a 12 lb. Cook';s bone-in shank portion fully cooked ham. After 3 hrs. it was hot all the way through and quite moist. The glaze ended up in the bottom of the foil wrapping and didn';t really flavor the top part of the ham. It probably steamed off because of the foil wrap. I';ll definitely cook this again. I think I';ll wait...

Reviewed Frito Lay Bean Dip

Dec 27, 2012 in null on Food.com

I just tried this for the first time, which means I followed the recipe to a T. I can see it would be exactly like FL bean dip, but mine was a little salty. OK, mine was a salt lick. I went back and tasted some of the scrapings from my refried bean can, and they were already quite salty. Such an easy thing to fix that I give this 5 stars (because...
