"This is very yummy. Great new way to eat sweet potatoes. I used a local maple syrup, although not grade B, but it was still a perfect hot, sweet combination.""

About Me

I love to try new recipes and change some old ones to make them my own!! My grandma owned a restaurant for most of my childhood and I loved food and cooking ever since.  I feel there are no mistakes in the kitchen and you can never rule out a combination of flavors.  Try anything once, before you say it will never work.  My favorite recipes come from Betty Crocker 1961 "New Picture" cook book that my mother in law passed on to me.  There are no recipes like classic ones.

Favorite Foods

Italian recipes are my comfort food, really reminds me of family dinners.  I love all types of styles and ingredients.  Tangy dishes, creamy sauces and gravy,  tender meats, pasta of any kind!  I think the only taste I don't care for is anise/licorice.
