Reviewed Beef Stroganoff
"Two words. EASY and delish. I had all day house guests...they showed up for lunch and stayed all day then for dinner...so I needed something quick and easy. I had round steak in the fridge and I tenderized it myself with a mallet. I had leftover dinner rolls from lunch and made a salad. Most of the rest of the ingredients were in my pantry. I""
Reviewed Braised Beef Brisket with Onions, Mushrooms, and Balsamic
"Very good! I have tried Ina's, Tyler's and Bobby's recipe for Beef Brisket. I have to say this one is my new favorite. The Balsamic Vinegar and the bacon add a new level to the flavor of the brisket that the others lacked. I reduced the portion for a smaller brisket. Everyone LOVED this meat dish! I am going to buy a new roasting pot to try ""
Reviewed Chopped Steak and Mushroom Onion Gravy
"This dish was as delicious as it was EASY to make! There were no leftovers! "
Reviewed Sage Sausage Bites with Balsamic Apricot Dip
"Well, EVERYONE ate them and raved about them at the party I took them to. I was not so impressed. There seemed to be WAY more sauce than sausage bites. I also was not sure about the breadcrumbs, it seemed to add a gritty texture that I did not care for. "
About Me
I was a chef for a couple of years when I was younger. I learned to hate it, and I could not stand most of the people I cooked for at the end. I was SOOOO burned out on it then I went to bartending and got burned out on that as well, and was stiffed by my boss for about $500.00 in wages. One day I was watching Ina Garten, she made something that looked so good and she was so wonderful on her show. It got me back in the kitchen....I now love cooking again!
