My Activity

Reviewed Brownie Pudding

"This was delicious. Hubby wanted something chocolate tonight and I have a similar version of this in my Hersey cookbook. I saw Ina make this earlier in the week and thought I would compare ingredients. This has fewer steps, fewer ingredients and the taste was so amazing. I didn't add the liquor (allergic and used 1 tsp of vanilla extract. I also did not mess with the water bath, I don't think its necessary. I put it in my baking dish and in it went for an exact hour. Top looked done, cracked a bit, but the underneath was perfect. Nice and moist, brownie pudding. Try it! I will be making this again! Also, my butter was still a bit warm when I was adding it to the other mixture. I just did a little at a time to temper, then poured the rest in.

Reviewed Red Velvet Swirl Brownies

"I love red velvet cake, so decided to try these. I am so glad I did! I've already made them 5 times and they never last more than 2 days in my house. I didn't add nuts because of an allergy and I didn't cook the cream cheese in with them, instead I made a cream cheese icing and put it on top after the brownies cooled. The brownies itself are amazing and I am sure they are delicious either way. Nice and moist brownies that I will make again and again. A lot easier than slaving over a cake and tastes the same, maybe even better. Try it!
