My Activity

Reviewed Farro Salad with Tomatoes and Herbs

"This is DELICIOUS! I've made similar salads using quinoa, tabbouleh, etc., but farro (first time cooking with it) is my favorite. 1/4 cup of farro has 7g of protein (compare to 6g/quinoa), so great alternative! I used a red onion (as that is what I had) and mint instead of parsley (as a previous poster suggested). Next time, I will try with parsley, or even better, cilantro. Also, I purchased my farro on Amazon... (3 lb bag for @ $7). I will be making this often! Move over, quinoa!"

Reviewed Frittata with Peaches and Cherries

"This was delicious, so easy to prepare, and looks great served on a raised platter for brunch. I used 2% milk (as that is all we have) and cut back on the sugar (as another reviewer suggested)to 1/4 cup, and it was plenty sweet. The maple syrup adds a nice, additional touch, but in the end, we preferred it without it. I will certainly make this again and again!
