"A very coconutty rice flour chewy dessert. Traditionally, this is baked in banana leaves but my family prefer the crispy edges which is why I use a sheet pan. I have been testing out several types of chewy desserts using rice flour and this seems to be the favorite."

It was very good but way salty. I had to squirt some lemon to mine, probably better with calamansi. It paired nicely with tomato and shallot salad with a touch to patis and little of kosher salt. I threw in some green onion at the end to give some color and additional flavor. I will make this again but use low-sodium soy sauce."

Family loved it! Easy enough for my husband to do :). Since we bought dinner rolls that came in 12, we used 1.5 lbs of beef to even it out and of course, adjusted the seasonings. We thought something else was missing but overall, this stuff is great and cute for entertaining. Thank you, Alton!"
