Hello from the Willamette Valley in Oregon, a land of milk and honey.
I like to keep things simple while maintaining top flavor. Have recently re-discovered my big food processor and am enjoying letting it speed up the prep work.
Fresh vegetables are at the top of my list, though I like most foods. I like Asian, Mexican and Mediterranean flavors, but also have fondness for home-cooked specialties from every European country as I grew-up in a multi-ethnic neighborhood. I also like "retro" foods like Mom and Grandma used to make, and collect old and historical cookbooks. I often alter recipes to reduce fat, add whole grains, or make other healthful changes.
