"The recipe was good and simple. However, it didn't have as much flavor as I had hoped for. Definitely needs some salt and pepper. The first time I followed completely as written. About Me
Hey Folks,
Just good old other boy here that loves to cook. Grew up in the small town restaurant and bar business. Love cooking from a very early age. Grew up watching Cooking with Julia Child (such a loss with her passing to the cooking world). Galloping Gourmet with Graham Kerr. In fact he inspired me to get my first hot oil fondue pot at age 10 and still have the cook book. Looking forward to looking at the older more classic stuff on here from Foodtv. Takes me back to my childhood. My mom was the greatest influence on me as far as cooking. Taught me old down home Southern cooking very much like Paul Deen-Grover (hope I spelled Michael's name right. Mr. Michael forgive me if I didn't) does. In fact when I can't remember a recipe I look up Mrs. Grover's as I know they will refresh my memory if in fact they are not almost exactly if not exactly the same. Yall say hey there.
