I made this and won our cookie contest. I had to make some adjustments to recipe. For me, the amounts for the middle and top layers needed to be increased so that it could cover the entire 9x13 Pyrex I used. Definitely easy but needs a little tweeking to suit my family's taste. As-is, the flavor is tangy with a spicy heat finish. It a good base but it still needed a little more umph. So here's what I added:
2/3 c Marsala wine
1/4 c soy sauce
1/2 t McCormick Caribbean Jerk Seasoning
1/4 c Golden Raisins (for sweetness)

A huge hit at the family BBQ. Made this as an appetizer (paired with beer). Prep'd it the night before. Threw it on the grill when I got to the party.
