As I thought this recipe tasted good the directions were wrong as to the temp that the caramel has to get to.It SHOULD be 260 deg F to get to hard ball. Also should mention to get apples that don't have a wax coating on them OR give directions as to what to use to get the wax off.I use lemon juice.I have heard baking soda and cider vinegar works w"
