Reviewed roast turkey breast with gravy

3 days ago on

I didn't have turkey, so I used fish and I didn't have veggies, so I used peanut butter- I didn't like so I give this is 1. Ha ha- Just kidding - I made this exactly as written (as I always do the first time with a recipe - especially when I rate it!) It was fabulous. Easy enough for a weekday dinner. Nice treat for a Wednesday!

Easy, quick, economical, healthy and delicious! What more could you ask for? I didn't have the grains of paradise so I added black pepper and the smallest pinch of smoked paprika. I ordered grains of paradise from Amazon and they are on the way for the next time. I also added a clove of garlic to the veggies. Perfection!

seems a little unfair to rate a recipe that you haven't made or don't know what the ingredients are.

I make this recipe each time I visit my vacation home in the OBX of NC. This is so easy to make and very easy to adapt to any number of guests. Add a salad, some crusty bread and a few bottles of white wine and you'll have a fabulous meal that is far better than any restaurant! People beg for this! I make it exactly as written- perfect!"

awesome- made a double batch and plan to freeze half and throw some jumbo shrimp into the other half and have over linguine. Been looking for a new marinara sauce and this one is fabulous. I added a tablespoon for brown sugar and a tablespoon of butter like my grandmother always did- other than that- made exactly like the contessa . Delish!"

This is one of my new favorite party foods. I made these for New Year's Eve and everyone loved them. I made these exactly as written and had the perfect amount of filling for 24 peppers. Using a plastic bag with a hole in the corner made filling these up a breeze. ""

This recipe was excellent. Also, since the mushrooms cook in liquid for 3 hours, there was no need to reconstitute them at all. They were very soft and melted away when blended to make the gravy. ""

Very quick and easy. I seared the chicken in a litte olive oil until it was just a little golden. It was amazing. Perfect for a lite dinner on a hot day. "
