"I didn;t have any ricotta, so I substituted 2 oz. blocks of cream cheese and used 3 eggs and 1/2 cup sugar. Baked for 50 minutes and came out perfectly. Also, I don;t like the chemical taste of ;whipped topping; so I beat a cup of whipping cream with a tbsp of sugar and folded that into the pudding mix/milk mixture. This cake is..."

"I've made this several times over the years. It's such an easy dinner. The rosemary and the golden raisins soaked in the chicken pan drippings add such flavor! Regular wide egg noodles are an easy substitution for tagliatelle, which can be difficult to find."

"Oddly, the recipe doesn't say what to do with the shallots macerating in vinegar. (Toss the shallots after they turn pink from the vinegar, and whisk the vinegar in with the oil prior to dressing salad.) Even so, I gave this 5 stars. What a delicious, refreshing side dish, perfect as an accompaniment to broiled fish. "

Reviewed Naan: Indian Oven-Baked Flat Bread

"Just like at the Indian restaurants! Yay!! The yogurt really made the difference. And the hint of using the cast iron skillet worked great. I didn't add the seeds or butter, but honestly, the recipe stood on its own without it. I've made this several times, and the naan came out perfect each time. "

Reviewed Mum's Everyday Red Lentils

"What a delicious vegetarian dish! Perfect on its own or as an accompaniment. I didn't have fresh tomatoes on hand so I subbed out a 15 oz. can of diced tomatoes and their juice. Other than that, I followed recipe exactly. Husband was thrilled with this, and asked that it be part of the regular dinner rotation. Perfect balance of seasonings. Thanks"
