Hello, I am Stephen Cipolla, born, bred and fed in Brooklyn, New York, by an Italian mother who nurtured me with her love of cooking, generous spirit, and warm hospitality. Her life, it seemed, was spent at the kitchen stove, while ours were centered around the kitchen table. Keeping her family and friends well-fed with simple, soul-satisfying food was her passion. It was in this aroma-filled environment that my love of all things culinary blossomed.
