Reviewed good eats roast turkey
6 days ago on FoodNetwork.com
“Outstanding recipe. I've made my turkeys this way for the past 5 years and it always gets rave reviews from my guests. If you follow the instructions step-by-step you'll be rewarded with a beautifully browned, crispy skin, moist turkey with excellent flavor. Guaranteed, your guests will praise your culinary prowess.”
“Order Marinara in Italy and you'll get a seafood dish. Order Salsa di Pomodoro and you'll get a sauce very similar to this recipe. Somewhere along the line the name Salsa di Pomodoro became "Americanized" and known as Marinara.
I agree, hold the water, the sauce should be slightly thick.

“I followed the recipe exactly. Corned beef was excellent as were the potatoes. Carrots were good, but nothing to write home about. The cabbage on the other hand wasn't at all appealing to me; it was overcooked, lost any cabbage flavor and picked up an odd taste, probably from the combination of brined beef and the sweetness of the apple juice.
