I used red cooking wine because I am on the wagon. LOL

“I could not realize carrots in a chili dish, but since I had some chopped from another soup recipe, I tossed them in. They added a little sweetness as I knew they would. However, I also use cocoa powder ( 2 teas.) as another viewer had mentioned.
I use cocoa because it adds depth, color and cuts some of the sweetness of the carrots.

“I think I know why the cakes are sinking. I just made one and it has sunk and the center is not done within the hour and 20 min. time frame. The culprit is cake flour I think. It is too refined.
Well, to rule out this possibility, I will try it again with all purpose flour. "”
