Reviewed Alton Brown's Buffalo Wings Recipe : Alton Brown : Food Network

Feb 2, 2014 on FoodNetwork.com

Oh, Alton, you've been my hero for almost 15 years! These wings are so tasty, so crisp, so juicy, so easy, so Alton! I'd love to know the science behind the recipe that makes it work so well. I made two half recipes in my toaster oven and they both worked perfectly (the second batch dried in the 'fridge in the steamer basket because I was using the...

Ina, when you say good white chocolate, does that mean anything but choco chips--my melted white chips froze up (broke?)? Can I save it with some cream? Obviously, candy making isn't my strength.....

YUMMY! Made half a recipe which worked perfectly in my toaster oven, 6 muffins. And I agree with others that a wee pinch of salt--I bet Trisha used salted butter--and bit of vanilla will improve the flavor. In addition, I plan to reduce the butter by at least a quarter, maybe a third. The butter bubbled over into the muffin pan, hmmm, what can I u"

Tasty! Never had swiss chard before, wasn't sure what to expect. I halved the recipe which worked out fine for one--and had about four cups total (hope it freezes well). Creamy, cheesy (stone ground) polenta, with smooth tasty, slightly garlicky swiss chard, Yummy! I used Greek yoghurt instead of sour cream and it added a pleasant twang. Next time"

Tasty! Never had swiss chard before, wasn't sure what to expect. Creamy, cheesy polenta, with smooth tasty swiss chard, Yummy! I used Greek yoghurt instead of sour cream and it had a pleasant twang. Next time I will add just a wee pinch of nutmeg to the greens, really, just a bit. Can't wait to share! And make again. "

My first kale experience and it was so good, I made it three times the same evening (but I only use a toaster oven)! Then I sent the recipe to six or seven of my closest friends and rels--even the veggie shy ones. I used Old Bay seasoning, very tasty. Must try garlic and nutmeg. I do understand why an olive oil sprayer would be good to use. I'll p"

Fabulous! I am making these for the second time, with cayenne and Old Bay seasonings. They come out to crispy and light and tasty and irresitible! The sugar is scary but it IS what makes these oven fries so perfect and it's such a teeny bit. Try 'em, you'll like 'em!"

These were underwhelming. I quartered the recipe, for a total of 11, because it's just me. I added some cayenne for extra flavor and, of course, added my vegetable, one half cherry tomato to each as Paula and Jamie did on the show. They turned out doughy, sorta tasty but I won't make them again."

Perfect as shortbread under fruit! I macerated blackberries and strawberries from today's FM in 1T balsamic vinegar and 2T sugar as the cookies baked. Buttery berry crispness! And, of course, a generous amount of squirty whipped cream from Land o' Lakes. So yummy. This is the real shortbread, not too sweet--leave that to the fruit. Perfect."
