Reviewed Mushroom Risotto

Jun 19, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I wish I could give this 6 stars. It is absolutely delicious.
This is the first risotto recipe I ever made and have now made it quite a few times. I omit the truffle oil and the dry porcini mushrooms, and it is still great. Since I make it as a side dish, I only make half the recipe, and it is still plenty for four people.

Reviewed Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

Dec 19, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I have made these cookies twice. The first time, I used Pillsbury devil's food cake mix, and I followed the recipe word for word. The consistency of the batter was so thick and gooey, I could not use the hand mixer. I had to mix by hand. The cookies turned out like chocolate donut holes. They were good but not great, as if they were missing something....
