My Activity

Reviewed Mixed Berry Cheesecake

"This was my first time making cheesecake in a springform pan, so I followed the recipe word for word. I wish I would have watched the video before, because I would not have raised the temperature to 450. My cheesecake was too dark on top. I also had problems getting the cheesecake out of the pan, but once I did, it was delicious. I will make i""

Reviewed Ultimate Coffee Cake

"Great recipe!! Very tasty and simple, and it looked so pretty, we had to take a picture!
I used Bridgford Parkerhouse Rolls. I was able to fit 16 of them in the bottom of my bundt pan, side by side, and they rose evenly. I made 2 changes to the recipe. I added cinnamon, and also mixed the brown sugar, pudding and cinnamon together before spr""

Reviewed Chocolate Gooey Butter Cookies

"I have made these cookies twice. The first time, I used Pillsbury devil's food cake mix, and I followed the recipe word for word. The consistency of the batter was so thick and gooey, I could not use the hand mixer. I had to mix by hand. The cookies turned out like chocolate donut holes. They were good but not great, as if they were missing something. This time, I used Duncan Hines golden yellow cake mix. The batter's consistency was perfect and I was able to use the mixer. When I creamed the butter and cream cheese, I added half a cup of sugar, because I read it in an earlier review. Once my batter was done, I folded in white chocolate morsels and dried cranberries. Before baking the cookies, I rolled them in colored sugar, not confectioners. These cookies were delicious, like sugar cookies.
