Reviewed Strawberry and Lemon Curd Phyllo Baskets

Nov 25, 2014 in on

This is my first time making lemon curd and OMG, I love it! This recipe was so simple with such grand presentation. All my friends were impressed. Maybe the phyllo sheets are different in sizes in the USA and Greece, because I had to use 8 phyllo sheets to get 12 4-inch squares. This will definitely be on my "make again" list! Thank you, Eve...

Made this last night for dinner and it was quite good. My goddaughter loved it, but it';s a bit too heavy for me. I normally don';t use cream cheese in anything because of the high fat content, but I know kids love this kind of stuff! The only substitution that I made was using cilantro instead of parsley. Thanks for the recipe!"

"I found this recipe on and just made a batch for this weekend's dinner party. It's so delicious that I had to come and post it right away to share! Serve with whole-grain crackers or rye toast, garnish with thyme, if desired. Pate can be made, covered and refrigerated 2 days in advance."

I actually came here to post the recipe, but found it already posted. I found it on, tried it and really liked it. I used 3 double smoked ham hocks from Wholefoods and used green lentils instead of orange. I did think that it was a bit thick, meaning too much lentil. I think next time I';ll use just half a pound instead of a w...

I just made this and it was really good! Followed the recipe exactly except for the fresh thyme. I forgot to buy it so I used dried thyme instead. I think the thyme and the balsamic gave this dish its unique flavor, don't skip it! Thanks for the recipe!"

I was going to post this recipe but found it on here and can't believe it's been posted since 2006 without any reviews! I just made this recipe that I found on another website and eating it as I'm writing. It's so soft and fluffy and it's not as complicated as it seems. Once you do it, you'll know what to do next time without looking at the recip...
