Shared Recipe Head Cheese/Brawn

"As a child in England, my Mum would make this with a pigs head, but later in life she used pigs "trotters..."

About Me

Well, I love to cook and have a commercial stove in the kitchen. This probably stems from the fact that since moving from England my parents always were in the restaurant business. Mum did most of the cooking and people came from miles to have a good home cooked meal. Made her own jam and marmalade for breakfast, homemade pies, soups, yorkshire pudding etc. Now she is retired but still cooks up a storm. I have a lot of her recipes but still like to try new ones.
Hubby and I have two BIG dogs and if they hear the OOPS! word, it means something tasty must have dropped on the floor and they come running...lol.
I guess my pet peeve is when people wrinkle their nose at something they haven't even TRIED yet, I have no time for that!

Favorite Foods

Hot and spicy is good but ....I truly don't have any real favourites, but like to try lots of different things. (Good thing my hubby will try anything)!
I don't seem to be able to do anything wrong with my roast beef and yorkshire pudding, my husband says I am the "roast beef queen".
