Reviewed Pheasant and Cabbage Chowder

This is a delicious stew with a wonderful aroma. I've made it twice. Don't be intimidated by the prep time - it's worth it (I recommend making a double batch because you'll want more). I haven't found the slab bacon and have just used sliced bacon. It's still delicious, but I'm sure it's even better with the slab bacon. One of these days...
