Reviewed Creamy Macaroni and Cheese
"I double this recipe for my 6 qt crockpot. It's been a request from my family at all our gatherings. It's so easy to put it on, then get on with the rest of the meal while it cooks. In 3 hrs you get mac-n-cheese that everyone loves. I recommend stirring it at least once an hour to keep the sides from sticking so much. Also, for a little Tex-Mex twist, you can use Monterey Jack cheese, canned green chilis and chopped jalepenos. Put some homemade taco meat in as well, and you have a great alternative to Hamburger Hell-per. ;)
Reviewed Lemon Pasta with Roasted Shrimp
"I'm not a big fan of garlic, so this was great for me. Very simple and quick...great w/a little parm added on top. The family loved it too.
Reviewed Pumpkin Bread Pudding with Rum Sauce
"I love bread pudding, and this recipe looks DELISH. I'm soooo making it for Thanksgiving. The other reviews are right in that the candied walnuts have been left out of this, according to the episode I watched tonight.
Reviewed Good Eats Roast Turkey
"I've used Alton's cooking technique for the last 4 years for our turkeys (usually 20 lbs), auto thermometer alarm and all. I have so many compliments on it, that other people have asked for the recipe. It's always so juicy! Do NOT skip the brining process, though. I usually do Emeril's brine recipe instead of Good Eats, and usually in a cooler, for 24 hrs.
