Great way to use seasonal veggies. I added a small can of tomato paste and some chicken bouillon to add depth of flavor. Don't skip the cheesy toast. It's delicious on top of the soup as it soaks up the broth.

My husband and I liked this soup, but I agree with beeners71; the prep time took much longer. I did not have leeks, so I substituted Vidalia and shallot. Needed quite a bit of salt and pepper to add flavor at the end, but it was quite delicious. Worth the time and effort.

I used six ears of fresh corn on the cob. This was absolutely delicious! Instead of half and half, I substituted two cups of milk and two tablespoons of butter for that part of the recipe. Delicious chowder that I will make again. "

Delicious soup! Very easy to prepare. I substituted kale for the Swiss chard. Yum! I did not serve with the lemon slices; they weren't missed. "

Delicious crab cake recipe! The homemade dill tartar sauce has convinced me that homemade is much better than jarred tartar sauce. Simple to make and delicious! This will be a summer go-to recipe. Wonderful with corn-on-the cob!"
