Reviewed Quadruple Chocolate Loaf Cake

Apr 30, 2012 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I saw this cake made on TV and -being a chocoholic- I had to make it. It is a very easy cake recipe and my kitchen smelled wonderfully chocolaty. Reviewed Spaghetti with Asparagus, Smoked Mozzarella and Prosciutto

I used a hand mixer since I didn't have the proper tools,...

I had to bake it a little longer than it said, but it firmed up in the fridge, so I'm not sure if it was necessary. I made some vanilla whipped cream to put on top, and it complemented the pudding texture really well. It was just my kind of dessert, sweet,...

Reviewed Hazelnut Crunch Cake with Mascarpone and Chocolate

Nov 15, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

This was one of the best cakes I've ever had! I made this for my husband's birthday. Being fairly inexperienced, it took me way longer than it should have. The sugar never caramelized, and I didn't split the cake between two pans, so it overflew a bit. I was able to fix it and cut it in half, and the hazelnut crunch ended up pretty great, too....
