“I was really disappointed.....way too heavy on the pickling spice. The anount was OK for the meat but we were looking forward to the unique vegs in the dish and all you could taste was pickling spice. If I make this again, I would cut back. Like another reviewer here I used McCormick and shecut back...wish I had read her review first! Anway...tast"”

“Very easy and great flavor. Good looking cake that gets even better next day. Be aware, depending on the cranberries, this can be very tart. I made three times and the tartness was a bit different each time which I like. If too tart, tone down with a dollop of sweet creme or vanilla ice cream. Ina would be proud of that move.
