My Activity

Reviewed Pizza Dough

"This is our "Go To" recipe for pizza dough - it's super easy, and very tasty! We typically like making Margherita pizza's and it's a great recipe for a thin crust, crispy round of yumminess!

You can do any toppings on this - just make sure to roll it out super thin if you like thin crust!

We've shared this recipe with lots of our friends as it's easy, yummy and fun!"

Reviewed Southern Fried Chicken

"I've made this fried chicken more than four times now and it turns out the same every time - amazing! So simple, I had no idea that it was this easy to make fried chicken. I think the secret really is about being patient - and also using a deep fryer!

I add additional spice and garlic to my recipe to just give it that extra zing - Love it!!"

Reviewed Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

"These were amazing - it really is crucial to stick to the recipe as exactly how it is. Too much sugar, whether it be the syrup, brown or white can make this a flat crunchy cookie!

I made this the first time down at our family home in Mexico, and had only Mexican sugar (in lieu of white sugar) and they turned out amazing!

One trick is to make them the size of golf balls, rather than the size of walnuts! Make sure that you form the cookies with water as instructed.

I also sometimes refrigerate and chill the dough before baking, bake the cookies for 16 minutes and they turn out Ah-MAZING!!!

Friends are blown away that they are not from our local bakery!"

Reviewed Cinnamon Rolls

"OK - wow! I've always wanted to make cinnamon rolls, but never felt confident enough in my baking prowess to take it on. Finally, as I've developed more culinary skills, I decided it was time to go for it.

Who other than Paula Deen to provide one of the most amazing recipes out there! The dough preparation does take a long time, in fact the entire process is lengthy, but the end result is amazing.

I ended up using brown sugar in lieu of white sugar for the filling, but used white sugar on the bottom of the pan and wow, it turned out like toffee - little candy bites on the bottom of the rolls!

This is definitely going into the dessert binder!! Thanks Paula!"
