This has become a family favorite for Fall and Winter. Absolutely make it as written, even if you don't think you're a caraway fan.

Reviewed Cream of Roasted Red Bell Pepper Soup with Roasted Sweet Corn and Cilantro- Lime Sour Cream

Oct 11, 2013 on FoodNetwork.com

Delightful. Made it as per the recipe for a homecoming dinner for 15 teenagers and they loved it. The adults raved about it, as well. It was easy to make ahead and keep warm in the crock pot (which also allowed time for the flavors to marry), adding the sour cream and corn when serving.

Whole family loved it - a fantastic blend of flavors. Unfortunately, the online version is off from the more correct version in the book (which I made). For the mushrooms you'll want to add 4 oz. of mesclun greens (spring mix - hard to feed 4 without it. For the dressing, cut the honey back to 1 tsp. and kosher salt to half tsp. The final miss"

Huge hit! Made it as an appetizer for a large group of kids for a high school homecoming dinner (and their parents). People loved the dip. Used half hot and half sweet smoked paprika."

Not enough flavor. Not bad as a mild, cool side to a spicy dish, but nobody really enjoyed it.""

Reviewed Grilled Portobello Mushrooms Stacked with Fresh Spinach and Shaved Manchego Cheese

Sep 24, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

I had vegetarian relatives coming to visit and decided to make this for them while the meat-eaters had cedar-plank salmon (which, also thanks to Bobby, was delicious). I figured they probably cooked portobellos a lot and would simply appreciate my effort to accommodate them, but they raved about it. Everyone tried some and they loved it too. D...

Simply outstanding - a superb blend of flavors. Everyone raved about it. It's the tomato salad that absolutely makes this dish. The sauce was spot-on, giving great Thai flavors without toasting your tastebuds. I did drain the tomatoes a few times before mixing the salad to keep it from getting too watery.""

Reviewed Grilled Avocado, Tomato, Red Onion Salad

Aug 27, 2011 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

Delicious. Definitely leave the avocados on the grill for MUCH longer than the recipe calls for to really get a great flavor. This makes a great presentation and leftovers are great, as long as you eat them quickly - which shouldn't be a problem.""

Reviewed Sixteen-Spice-Rubbed Chicken Breast with Black Pepper Vinegar Sauce and Green Onion Slaw

Dec 23, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on FoodNetwork.com

A family favorite - they just keep asking for it again, and again (we skip the Green Onion Slaw, as the kids don't care for it). As the name is a bit much to remember, they simply refer to it as, "The Really Yummy Chicken". The only downside is that it has given me pause about what they must think of the other chicken recipes I use. :-s
