Reviewed 7-Minute Frosting

Jan 31, 2013 in Food Network Community Toolbox on

For 7 minute frosting/marshmallow fluff frosting/fluffy white frosting, this is the best recipe out there. I, personally, am not a huge fan of this type of frosting; but my husband is, and this one is his favorite."

I'll be honest...I'm having a hard time making this work and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong! I'm a fairly experienced cook and have tried (and loved) several of PD's recipes over the years, but this one is not working out for me! I've made this beef stew three or four times. My meat is dried out and I have no stew broth left after cooking. "

This was pretty good! All the mayo, sour cream, and dressing was a little rich, but the flavor is delicious. I decreased the amount of onion by almost half but it was still a lot of onion. I'm an onion lover but it was a bit much even for me! "

Honestly, I was a little disappointed with this recipe. I found it slightly bitter. I saved the leftovers in the fridge and the next morning cut it with milk and made really delicious chocolate milk. The next time I make this I may use only 1/4 cup cocoa and replace the other 1/4 cup with powdered milk.

SOOO delicious!!! I took some suggestions from other posts and made this fabulous dessert last night to rave reviews! I live in a rural area so couldn't find ladyfingers, so instead used vanilla wafers. I also used a little chocolate syrup between the layers of cookie and filling. Finally, I grated a milk chocolate bar and used that in place of...

Reviewed Green Bean Casserole

Nov 19, 2010 in Food Network Community Toolbox on Food Network

Overall this was pretty good but I would change a couple of things if I made it again: I would dice the mushrooms instead of slicing and I would use additional House Seasoning when boiling the green beans. I was a little thrown when I'd get a big hunk of mushroom and I thought the beans alone were a little bland though covered in a flavorful sau...
