Reviewed Chipotle Smashed Sweet Potatoes
"Always a HUUUUGE hit during Thanksgiving and Christmas! I always use the white "sweet potatoes" and not the orange "yams." The white ones offer superior flavor and they're not as sweet, IMHO.
I usually add 50% more adobo sauce and peppers than the recipe calls for. Alton tends to under-spice many of his recipes. I like even more, but everyone at my place are such pansies! :-D
Sometimes it tends to get a bit pasty, but I put in a little milk to loosen it up a bit.
