About Me
I am a client service representative at an Animal Hospital. However, I am currently working towards opening a specialty bakery and coffee shop.
I have many hobbies that I enjoy:
Volunteer work at an area wildlife refuge
Baking, cooking, trying new recipes and creating my own new recipes.
Cake design & decorating cakes, I have been doing this for over 37 years.
Sketching, crochet & knitting, counted cross stitch, needlepoint, floral arrangements, sewing, and too many other crafts to mention them all.
I love gardening, flower gardening and garden design. I have done the landscape design for our new construction home and will be working on my two daughters yards next year. My love of gardening flows into my home with houseplants and a very "outdoor" design theme. I vegetable garden, but limit my types grown. I am adding a berry patch in the near future.
Interior decorating.
Certified art framer. I love to take a piece of art and design the framing that compliments it perfectly using mat(s, fillets, etc. and, of course, the frame.
I would like to get back into stained glass artwork. It's been years!
I'm a movie nut!
I love to write, poems & short stories. I hope to publish my work in the future.
Favorite Foods
I do not have one particular dish I love to cook. I love to cook anything that puts a huge smile on peoples faces and brings "oo's and aah's" as they devour it! I probably love to bake more then cook.Homemade chicken pot pie, spinach tortellini salad, chicken enchiladas, bbq ribs, and a whole host of baked goodies!
It is difficult to limit my favorite restaurant to just one. I am a woman with a taste for a very wide variety of foods. It depends on my mood and what I have a taste for that determines what my favorite restaurant is at the time.
