I'll assume if you are reading this, that for some reason you are interested...or bored. Regardless, my parents ran a restaurant for 13 years so I grew up around food. My mother made her own bread, canned many foods and made thousands of pies for the restaurant. She even made her own butter for a few years. All of our foods were always fresh from our garden or a nearby farm. I guess cooking is in my blood but not as a career.
My pet peeve is when someone rates a recipe with one star followed by a comment such as, "the salted potatoes were too salty, or the habanero sauce was too hot." WE DON'T CARE!!!!
I prefer fresh foods and recipes that build levels of flavors. Any roasted veggies, all meats especially beef and fish with some spices and a little heat. Love fruit especially in desserts.
